Exhausted after a visit to the emergency room the night before, I, Acacia-from-Alaska, sighed happily when Quinn-from-Colorado announced, at six-thirty in the morning one day, that there were about four inches of snow on the ground. Then I rolled back over. Kyle-and-Kayla-from-California, however, sprung out of bed and were instantly at work with snowmen and snow angels. Upon hearing their delighted exclamations, I had no choice but to join in. Who can resist the magic of a first snow? The next days were filled with snowball fights, recreating the Venus di Milo, and sledding next to a pink castle on cafeteria trays. Winter in Switzerland had come at last!
