September Sunday

Anchorage has been enshrouded in weird, mysterious fog for almost a week now, a low ceiling of wintery white that shields the city from the flawlessly clear sky above.  Today, brilliant fall sunlight finally illuminates the landscape, but here are some photos of Kincaid Park a few days ago.

Otherwise, the hiking above the fog has been fantastic, the bike riding beautiful.  My arm is healing well, I’ve been earning money, and have decided to spend all of it going to both Brazil and the Dominican Republic this winter.  I’m about to purchase a business license and build a professional website.  The days are getting colder and darker, with as much magic as every other year.  It’s a beautiful time to be here.

  1. I love how you always describe nature so well. And how all your pics are so…crystal. And more than anything, your positive outlook on life…cant wait to see your plans about Brazil and Domenican materialize. All the best to you!
